Awards with the style of Molotov

After waiting a year to finally host the MTV VMA Latin-America, Molotov added its special touch to the awards, in which they showed that not only they can make music, they can also be hosts. Unfortunately in this occasion Molotov’s “rhythm” was only heard in a one-on-one with the vocalist of the band Ultrasonicas. Following the theme the resurged throughout the night Paco and Randy made remarks against the construction of a wall between the border of Mexico and the U.S.

Molotov to co-host the 2005 VMA's Latin America

Molotov and the actress Ana de la Reguera will be the hosts of the 2006 MTV Video Music Awards Latin-American. The ceremony will be October 19th, and this time it will be far from any hurricane, as it will take place in Mexico City, in “el Palacio de los Deportes.” Stay tuned for more information.

Varios sitios de internet habían publicado que molotov grabo audio y material para un DVD en el concierto del Anfiteatro Gibson lamentablemente después de hablar con los molotov, eso no fue más que una bromilla de Miky. Paco confirmo lo siguiente: "si tenemos planeado grabar en vivo audio y video para un DVD pero no hay nada aun, son solo ideas." Así que lamentablemente solo resulto una broma del sr. Miky Huidobro.

Various websites reported that molotov recorded video and audio for a DVD unfortunately after a conversation with molotov this is just the outcome of a joke by Miky. Paco confirmed the following "we do have plans to record live audio and video for a DVD but nothing confirmed yet, just ideas." Thus unfortunately for the fans it was just a joke by Mr. Miky Huidobro.

Bajo el título de "50 x 50 Paseo del Rock Mexicano," el nombre de Molotov quedo plasmado entre los nombres de los 50 principales grupos de rock que hay en México. Las placas que fueron develadas en el parque Ramón López Velarde, se encuentran ubicadas en el extremo norte del jardín y también llevan grabados los nombres otras bandas como: Café Tacuba, La Lupita, Botellita de Jerez, Control Machete, entre otros. Con esto se confirma más la huella que ha dejado Molotov en historia musical de México.

Under the title of "50 x 50 Paseo del Rock Mexicano" (or 50 x 50 Walkway of Mexican Rock) Molotov's name was engraved on the top 50 rock groups of Mexico. The commemorative plaques were revealed in the park "Ramón López Valarde," and can be located on the extreme north of the garden. Other rock bands that were listed were bands such as: Café Tacuba, La Lupita, Botellita de Jerez, Control Machete, and others. With this it is once again confirmed that Molotov has left its mark in Mexico’s musical history.

Después de varios meses de ausencia, parece que los molotov por fin se animaron a entrarle de nuevo al ruedo y salir a los escenarios a hacer lo que mejor saben. ¿Se cansarían de compartir tanto tiempo con Juanito el Caminador? ¿Se enfadarían de andar haciéndola de productores? ¿Se aburrió Tito de Alemania? Pues eso es algo que solo ellos saben pero las buenas noticias son que nuevamente salen de gira y los afortunados son nada más y nada menos que los gringos, en una gira que hace soñar a sus seguidores con un nuevo disco que de seguro viene en camino. After several months of being absent from the concert scene it looks like Molotov is finally returning to the concert atmosphere to do what they do best. Did they get tired of being producers? Did Tito get bored in Germany? That’s something that only they know. The good news is that they are ready for their new tour. This time the lucky ones are non other than fans in the U.S. A tour that makes the fans in the U.S. dream of their new album, that for sure is to come!
